About 95758.com

When my family and I moved to Elk Grove, CA in 2004, we were strangers in a new place. Sure we knew about the big stores that you could see from the main streets, but we didn't know about the home grown stores that really make a community unique. 

As I ventured out into different areas of Elk Grove, I thought it would be nice if other new area residents could learn about and share information on the businesses they came across.

In 2004 I launched 95758.com as a way to help others find local businesses here in Elk Grove. I also wanted to create a directory that was free for all businesses to be listed in so that the resource could be as large (and as helpful) as possible. 

Why 95758.com (why not 95624 or 95757)?

I thought 95758 was a fitting (and easy to remember) website name since that was my zip code at the time. The 95758.com website name was just the first one that came to mind, not a requirement for the businesses that are listed to be located in that specific zip code. 

Elk Grove has a rich history that covers both the east and west sides of the the town, so you can also reach this site by typing in 95624.com and 95757.com

I am stay at home dad, husband, small business owner,  and web developer.  All these things kept me pretty busy until 2010 when I found the time to redesign and relaunch the Elk Grove Business Directory.
